Topic: Super Mario 64 -Mupen64- Rom

This rom is a mini hack i did with patching codes to the rom and editing some values. This rom hack lets you use Gameshark codes on Mupen64 basically.  This rom does not have any Stars, It is just deleting all the useless stuff in sm64 for faster gameplay for people who are new with mupen or don't got any save states to download. Update soon will include ASM editing witch will let me put in 80 and D1/2 type codes in which means the Timer code will be patched into a super mario 64 rom and the 120 stars and all cannons will be unlocked.

Codes Include

-Exit While moving
-Skip intro
-AllCapsunlocked
-Skip level intro
-Yoshi always on top of roof
-Star Doors are set to 0
-Have All Keys

Also i did some work with toad tools, When you want 2nd bowser level just walk forward after going through door and you will be warped there. And for stairs just walk forward also and you will be warped.

Jeremiah's right, but if you really intend to patch the timer code in it, I suggest to patch the new version of the timer code which support centiseconds, as well as the one that make the timer work during pause...

I seen both those codes and i am, But the only reason i cant do so now is because of the code line that shows the GFX value which makes the timer actually show, (80)2E3A63 00B4. So i have to use ASM editing even though i never ASM hack.

Re: Super Mario 64 -Mupen64- Rom

Don't patch the new timer code to the rom.  It doesn't work in the sub areas.

Re: Super Mario 64 -Mupen64- Rom

When the timer code is added ill just make a little GFX change and just put TAS somewhere like under the lifes or something.

Do you know how to patch codes that aren't 81 type? Like A031D1AF DDDD?

That is a 2.0 and lower type of gameshark code. Only 3.0+ codes work correctly with todays emulators. But most likely yes it would work out, but you would have to know if the older gameshark code type's.
